2010 Petit Bourgeois Henri Bourgeoise, Chavignol, France Petit Bourgeois, is a simple Vin de Pays made from Sauvignon Blanc grown on parcels of land just outside the Sancerre appellation. One sniff of this wine and you’re in a Paris wine bar. It has a lively, zesty fruit, length and depth that is surprising for a vin de pays.  Arnauld Bourgeois once entered this wine in a Sancerre competition and won it and got into huge trouble.
