D id you know that Shawsheen Village Liquors is pleased to offer “in-home” wine tastings? We customize the wine tasting to suit your needs and budget? We’ll work with you to design it by region, by varietal, by bottle or even by your favorite wines. You have complete control while we do all the work.
At each tasting we bring enough for each person to “taste” every wine, a write-up on the wines that people can take with them, and last but not least, we facilitate a short discussion on each of the wines. Since we recommend that you serve some type of hors d’oeuvres, we’ll even help you pick out ones that go best with the wines chosen.
Over the years we have found that wine tastings work best for groups of 8 to 14 guests. With groups of this size typically a tasting of six bottles of wine lasts for 2-3 hours depending on the group. Because of the popularity of these in-home tastings we book up quickly. (Feel free to check possible dates by searching our on-line calendar) . The cost is custom designed for you based on the price of the bottles chosen for the tasting. So the cost is up to you! There will also be the opportunity for you and your guests to order the wines that are being tasted and pick them up at the store at a later date.
